NCAA Tournament

It is a yearly tradition for the boys in Jon's family to go to the NCAA basketball tournament. The boys in my family joined in the tradition a few years back as well as my Uncle Scott and his boys. Since Jon's Dad is on a mission, Jon and Matt headed out with the Helms to Philadelphia. They watched 2 days of basketball and spent 3 days touring around the close areas. They saw a lot in a short amount of time. This has been a fun tradition and they go a new place each year. Too bad no girls are ever invited.

Aquarium

We went with our friends the Haynie's and Ebbert's to the Aquarium. We had fun looking at the new Amazon section. Ira loved walking around and exploring. Beck has been there a million times and just runs through it real quick checking out all his favorite spots.

White Day

Sping snow days are a little bit of fun. At least you know the snow is only going to be there for a short amount of time. The boys had fun playing around in all the white stuff. Ira was a little nervous but by the end he was throwing snowballs.

All these cute fun girls live in my neighborhood. They are all so much fun to be with. Can't wait for our weekend getaway with all you hot mamas!

St. George March 09

Anytime we are away with my family we really do get a great break from kids. My mom does so much for us when we are all around. She seriously cannot do enough. If you need a drink she is running to get you one. If you say the boys need to eat she is running to make them a lunch that they will eat. She let Beck sleep with her and my dad which in and of itself is a great break. Then we have Candice who jumps through hoops for her Baby ( Beck ) it was good Dave was on a business trip because he gets all jealous and weird haha. They spent time in the hot tub, playing tennis and going on walks. Not to mention she entertained him the ride home in my parents car. Needless to say Jon and I don't look around too much to make sure are kids are taken care of. Thanks Family you make our life with kids a whole lot easier.





It is amazing what 74 degree warmth is like after a freezing long winter. We all weekend outside in St. George enjoying the beautiul weather. We all came home with fried faces. I did not even think about putting suncreen on us.

Ira has the funniest little personality. He tends to be a pretty moody little boy. For instance if you tell him that he cannot have something then he gives you his evil eye, usually throws something at you and then lays his head in his lap pouting. The funny thing about this is that he remembers who it was that told him no and holds a grudge. He kept us laughing all weekend. He gave some of his dirtiest looks ever. He was just happy to sit in the dirt and throw rocks.

Ira does have many happy moments in his life. He is not ALWAYS mad.

What is wrong with Baby I?

My poor little boy has been through it all. Now it seems that he has a molar coming in that has bruised his gum's and they are black and blue. He was up all night with a fever that is continuing through today. He is still battling his cold that he has had for 1 1/2 months so hopefully it is not associated with that. I am trying to hold back from rushing into the Dr. since we have been 5 times just this month. He finally took a little nap and he looked so sweet with his rosy cheeks. I guess I will take advantage of cuddling and holding him. Beckham visited the Dr. this week for his 3 year checkup and was doing better but was put on another antibiotic for his cold. He is growing good and is now in the 60th percentile for weight and 75th for height. He loves that he is growing and turning into a big boy. I am not so sure I like the thought.

Jon and I have been craving Sushi ever since our friends the Shin's made it for us. We decided to try our own Sushi making. I even begged a Sushi restaurant to sell me a Sushi roller. It is fun and easy to make. Not to mention it tastes great.


Little Baby I loves to play with balls. He can spot a ball from a mile away.


Beck is defiantly not a fan of having his picture taken. After begging him to look at me and say cheese, this is what we end up with. Hey at least he is practicing making letters with his dinner.

The Zoo

We had a great day out with the Haynie's at the Zoo. Heather is always up for some fun and I am so grateful to have her as a friend. We got to leave Ira with Grandma, so it was just the Beckster and Mom. It was a a beautiful sunny day.
