Havasupai

Jon got to spend the Labor Day weekend at Havasupai. He along with his two brothers, Candice and Dave, and Seth and Melissa. They had a great time and all survived the hard hike.







Jon and Matt hiked the 16 miles to where Havasu Canyon meets the Colorado River.

Beckham goes to PreSchool

Our Beck boy is now a Preschooler. He has really grown so much this year and turned into such a great little boy. He is so responsible and takes such good care of Ira. He loves life and being on the go. He was so happy to be going to school. We have talked about it for a while and the day has finally come. I am so glad he gets to go to Mrs Lindley ( my friend Jessica). She will be so fantastic, and he is a lucky boy to have her as a teacher.

Mom: " Beck, Ira and I will miss you when you leave us and go to school"
Beck: "But I will come back "
Beck: " When do I get to leave you and go to school?"

Farm Day

Doing what we like

The boys love to go to the Lehi pool. They are little fish. Ira loves to go down the slide and crash into the water at the end. Each time he is at the top he makes sure he waves and says "hi" to mom. Beck has gotten really good at swimming and likes to jump off the edge and swim to me. He is learning to take breathes along the way. i love watching him kick trough the water to me. Just another sign he is growing up.

Little Boy's

Becky Shipley took this snapshots for me. I love them and am so glad she would take the time to do this for us. It was so fun to spend so much time with Becky and the kids while they were in town this summer. I loved the hang outs and wish you lived here.

6 Years of Marriage

Jon took me away for a lovely weekend in Park City. We spent the night at the Dakota Mountain Lodge. The resort was so pretty and luxurious. The funny thing about them is that they charge you a $25 a day resort fee for the use of there pool and complimentary valet parking service. We tried to use the pool this morning but were rained out so I guess we got our $ 25 worth of the free parking valet. We dined for our first time at Ruth Cris. I must say the steaks are delicious. They really do melt in your mouth. It was a fun little retreat for us to celebrate all 6 years. Thanks to the Grandma's who took care of the rug rats.

Just Hanging Around

We love to enjoy a summer evening hanging out with our family. Beck and Ira love to explore the garden. Beck should become a farmer. He loves watching things grow and picking them. Ira is his little copy cat following Beck and repeating everything he says.

Happy 28th Jon

Jon turned 28 this year. I cannot believe what a young husband I have. He is such a great man. We adore him and are grateful he is in our lives. Jon's parents just returned from a mission in Africa so a few of his siblings and their kiddos were in town. It turned into the perfect party day. We had a BBQ at Vivian Pak. The kids played in the river and Beck even taught them all a lesson on peeing into the river. It was fun to be with the Shipley family. Jon and his brother Matt took off to Zions to hike Inlay Canyon. I am glad he got to spend his day doing the things he loves. We love you Johnny!

The Cabin

We sent a quick weekend up at the cabin with Matt and Becky and kiddos, The Johnson family and auntie Robyn. It was fun to have all those cousins together running around and having a great time. Jon the boys and I camped out in the tent and the boys loved it. We had a great time with some of the Shipley's.
