Beck Broke His Leg

Beck had a great idea to go skiing. He loves to ski and is just learning how to do it. So we headed up to Alta with the Schultz and Hinkley's to teach our kids to ski. After a few runs Beck and Jon had a ski crossover collision and Jon landed on Beck. This resulted in a spiral fracture in his Tibia. They put a soft cast on it for a few days and yesterday we got it casted at Primary's. Blue cast of course. He has done nothing but lay around playing Lego's in bed. Such a sweet brave boy. He does not complain one bit unless you move him. To keep the story straight Beck likes to be clear that he did not break his leg, his Dad did! Casted for 4 weeks or as Beck would also say 28 days! Hopefully he begins to walk on his cast in about a week.

St. George

We spent a weekend with just our family in St. George. The weather was fantastic. We spent the entire time outside. Beck took me on a hike all the way up the mountain behind GG's house. He knew the way and encouraged me all the way up. We also hiked around Snow Canyon and the little Narrow in St. George. It was a lot of fun.

Dress Up

Dressing up in her little outfit Schultz passed down to Ruby. She was dying to try it on and then could not get it off fast enough.

Beck Play B-Ball

Beck loves his first year of Junior Jazz. Mom accidentaly signed him up for a 1st grade team. He is a bit smaller and a year less skilled than his team mates. He has gotten really good at dribbling the ball.

Baby Mac Mac

Ruby has been chatting a lot about Baby Mac Mac ( Mac Alexander Helm). Unfortunatly she has been sick for the first few days of his life. Finally she was able to see the babe. She was very nervous at first. Then she warmed up and ended up in the crib next to him.

Our Girl

Ruby communicates everything with us. We cannot believe how quickly she has learned to talk. She makes us laugh especially when you catch her like this.

Ruby loves the snow and could spend forever in it. She especially loved to throw snowballs at the cows. She would tell us after she threw them:"The cows are gonna get me"
