Easter Extravaganza

Our family spent Easter down in St George. We had a good time with a little rain and sunshine. My grandma likes to feed you non stop so we all left feeling like we could use a diet. Beck and Ira loved swimming and enjoying the warm weather outside.

The hunt is on. retty good odds with a ton of eggs and 2 little boys.

Beck finding his Easter basket.

Crazy Candice and Dave jumping into the freezing pool.

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun

All I can say is RIOT!!! These girls are in my ward and are just about the funnest people around. We ditched our total of 14 kids with their dads and headed to my Grandpa's home in St. George. We laughed, shopped, laughed, ate, laughed, sat in the hot tub til we were prunes and laughed some more. I think we chatted non stop the entire time. I loved every minute of it and cannot wait to go again with them. I am glad I get to see them often because they are the best!

We all snuggled up together at night to chat. Don't worry there were about 8 other beds in the house. We just really love being together.

Leslie fried her arms and legs in the sun. This picture does not do it justice.

Let's just say we did a lot of eating......more eating .....and did I mention eating?

Jessica Lindley, Leslie Hemming, Skye Johansen, and Me

Skye daring to try a Bubbly Tea (little gooey tapioca's in smoothies)

Poor Hobo lady we saw at In and Out Burger at midnight.

The Big 29

One year away from the big 30! You got to love getting older. My body may be aging but I feel very young at heart. These are some pictures of my big day. My grandma came down to spend the day and we enjoyed lunch and a walk around the Thanksgiving Point gardens. That evening Jon and I went out with Candice and Dave to Sushi. We are getting braver with what we try. It was a great day.

The Boys

Gotta love those big blue eyes.

I thought Beck looked like such a big boy brushing his teeth this morning.

Candice brought this hat back from Jerusalem for Beck. Ira saw it up on Beck's shelf today and had to have it. I caught him putting it on and thought Candice and Dave would appreciate this picture.

Missionary Beck

Mom: Beck are you going on a mission?
Beck: No! I will miss you
Mom: Oh Beck you should go on a mission. Daddy went on a mission to the Dominican Republic.
Beck: Okay, I will go on a mission with Daddy. I won't miss you because I will have Daddy

So we called Daddy to let him know about the plan.

Beck: Daddy I am going to go on a mission with you
Daddy: No Beck you have to go alone (how mean is that)
Beck: No with you
Daddy: Where do you want to go on your mission to?
Beck: To Primary

Beck: Mom is Candice going to go on a mission? (we gave her a call to find out)
Candice: No Beck I don't think I will be going on a mission anytime soon.
Beck: You should go on a mission to primary.

Beck is such a sweet boy and when I told him that he would have to leave me and go on a mission with the other missionaries he got this sweet concerned face. I know I have many more years and he will probably be very ready to leave me, but for now I am going to enjoy every minute of him liking me.
