Big Brother

Each time we go through a car wash Ruby wants to hold hands with somebody. Today Ira volunteered to help her out.

Beck's 1st day of 1st Grade

The big year of all day school. Beck has been anticipating his first grade year. He picked out his own backpack that had to have a matching lunch box. He also woke up extra early and got dressed and packed himself a lunchable and Root Beer for his first lunch at school. He has Mrs. Caywood and it is her first year teaching. He is lucky to have Paisley and Jake Walton in his class this year. He was also very happy at the thought of having his best friend Sydney Schultz who is a 2nd grader at recess with him. When he got of the bus today after school the first thing that he told me was "They make you take a vegetable cup if you buy lunch".  Our only hope of school lunch for Beck may be Pizza day.

So glad he loves the idea of being at school. He is so sweet and happy and we miss him already at home with us. Ira asked me several times today where Beckham was at. Soon Ira can join him.

Ruby Can Swim

Ruby is our newest swimmer. She is obsessed with the water and now can swim around. She loves to be thrown high into the air and swim back to you as well as jump off the diving board and swim to you. So funny to see her small little body swim around.

Newort Beach Summer 2012

Another great summer at Newport. Each year my kids remember more and more of our Newport traditions. We spent all week on the beach. It was nice to have Jon all week this year along with most of my family. It was also great to have our newest Helm addition Mac. Kids finally have a Helm cousin to visit the beach with.
