Zachary and Elizabeth's Wedding Day

Uncle Drew The Sitter

Zach had his wedding dinner the other night and uncle Drew babysat the boys. When we came home they were fast asleep on the couch. Poor Beck had to sleep standing up.

Memorial Weekend

We planned a last minute trip to Jon's parents home in Las Vegas to meet up with Matt and Becky and their kiddos. We had a great time playing at parks, swimming, and playing games. Scott and his family came over to hang out a few times and Sarah taught Beck how to float around the pool in a little tube. Thanks all for the good time and now I have baby I asking where mama Becky at????

Ira 19 months

Ira has been changing a lot. He is acting like a little boy more and more each day. He thinks he is as big as his brother and just goes right along with him and the other kids. Ira loves to read books and will get you a book and want to sit right on your lap to read it. He tries to say everything, and does really well. He loves to sing songs You can catch him singing the ABC's although the letters are not very clear. He also will sing Child of God and Twinkle Little Star. His personality is adorable. He has the meanest glare but will give you a little grin while doing it. It melts my heart. I love asking him if he loves me and he quickly says NO! then I pretend to cry and he comes right to my face and says something like "are you alright mom" and I say do you love me again and he very very slowly nods his head yes and will kiss me. That is his new way to tell us yes to things by nodding his head up and down at an extremely slow pace. IT is a crack up. I also love when I put him to bed at night and he is alright with it then he will tell me night night and kiss me and giggle. It is so sweet. Baby I your family thinks you are a doll and we love you!

Disneyland or Disnelann

My friend Jessica convinced Beck and I to meet her and Ben in California for a trip to Disneyland for her birthday. Since I do like to get away as often as possible we jumped on the opportunity. I convinced Steph to drive on down with us. We spent our first day at good old Newport Beach. We have so many memories of Newport and they all rush back when we are there. We talk a lot about the summers we spent visiting my Aunt Bonnie on Balboa Island, eating Ho Sum and Crab Cooker and spending our days soaking up the rays at the beach. I am glad that my kids are creating fond memories of Newport Beach each year. While Steph and I were sitting on the beach I called my sister Candice to rub it in and suggested she fly on down to spend the weekend with us. Candice also can be easily persuaded to go on a trip. We spent a few days at Disneyland riding all the rides. Beck was the perfect height that he could pretty much go on every single ride. I think I scared him by starting our first day off with space mountain. He was a trooper and endured all the scary roller coasters. His favorite ride was the jungle cruise because it had no hills as well as Small World for the same reason. We had a great trip with everyone. Thanks Jessica Gardner for planning all of this. We love spending time with you and wish you lived near us. Can't wait to go again. I promise Baby I next time you can go.

Beck barely put down his map the entire time at Disneyland

Mother's Day

Being a mother to Beck and Ira and sometimes Jon is the best thing in the whole world. I am so blessed to have Beck and Ira that give me this great joy in my life. It was a great day that we spent with my wonderful Mother and Grandmother. I am so lucky to have great women all around me in my life.
