Disneyland or Disnelann
My friend Jessica convinced Beck and I to meet her and Ben in California for a trip to Disneyland for her birthday. Since I do like to get away as often as possible we jumped on the opportunity. I convinced Steph to drive on down with us. We spent our first day at good old Newport Beach. We have so many memories of Newport and they all rush back when we are there. We talk a lot about the summers we spent visiting my Aunt Bonnie on Balboa Island, eating Ho Sum and Crab Cooker and spending our days soaking up the rays at the beach. I am glad that my kids are creating fond memories of Newport Beach each year. While Steph and I were sitting on the beach I called my sister Candice to rub it in and suggested she fly on down to spend the weekend with us. Candice also can be easily persuaded to go on a trip. We spent a few days at Disneyland riding all the rides. Beck was the perfect height that he could pretty much go on every single ride. I think I scared him by starting our first day off with space mountain. He was a trooper and endured all the scary roller coasters. His favorite ride was the jungle cruise because it had no hills as well as Small World for the same reason. We had a great trip with everyone. Thanks Jessica Gardner for planning all of this. We love spending time with you and wish you lived near us. Can't wait to go again. I promise Baby I next time you can go.
Beck barely put down his map the entire time at Disneyland

Oh my heck I can't believe he went on all the rides with you!!! What a blast! That probably worked out so good and he sure is a trooper to test out the roller coasters! Good job beck!
Newport Beach looks cold! Sounds like a fun trip. I'm with Beck..give me the jungle ride and its a small small world.
How fun! I bet Beck loved the mommy time!
I'm glad you and Beck got to get away! I'm also glad that you posted about Ira next :) Was Beck scared to death on those big roller coasters? I love spontaneous trips like that!
