What is wrong with Baby I?

My poor little boy has been through it all. Now it seems that he has a molar coming in that has bruised his gum's and they are black and blue. He was up all night with a fever that is continuing through today. He is still battling his cold that he has had for 1 1/2 months so hopefully it is not associated with that. I am trying to hold back from rushing into the Dr. since we have been 5 times just this month. He finally took a little nap and he looked so sweet with his rosy cheeks. I guess I will take advantage of cuddling and holding him. Beckham visited the Dr. this week for his 3 year checkup and was doing better but was put on another antibiotic for his cold. He is growing good and is now in the 60th percentile for weight and 75th for height. He loves that he is growing and turning into a big boy. I am not so sure I like the thought.

Jon and I have been craving Sushi ever since our friends the Shin's made it for us. We decided to try our own Sushi making. I even begged a Sushi restaurant to sell me a Sushi roller. It is fun and easy to make. Not to mention it tastes great.


Little Baby I loves to play with balls. He can spot a ball from a mile away.


Beck is defiantly not a fan of having his picture taken. After begging him to look at me and say cheese, this is what we end up with. Hey at least he is practicing making letters with his dinner.

The Zoo

We had a great day out with the Haynie's at the Zoo. Heather is always up for some fun and I am so grateful to have her as a friend. We got to leave Ira with Grandma, so it was just the Beckster and Mom. It was a a beautiful sunny day.

Grandpa gave us his tickets to the best game of the season.

The X Baby

Jon and I took our workout to Vegas with us only to be mocked by our out of shape brother in-law Matt. After Matt so rudely posted video footage that he took while sitting on the couch eating cheesecake.

Jon's rebuttal:

Wow. I officially know how Michael Phelps feels. There is always some stoner...errrr lawyer...out there secretly capturing you in your worst moments looking to piggyback their success off your good name. Matt's youtube success made it as an aside in a washed up tonight show and that small taste off fame has sent him scrambling for the next hit. Two and a half years later he has resorted to exploitations of his in-laws. 90 days will prove you wrong Brutus.

It is the power of the X that you will never have Matt. Only 60 more days to go! Just wait Matt.

I would like to share the link to the video on his blog but it was at our weaker workout moments. Hey we were on vacation working out so isn't that good enough.

Pictures of the week

So It has almost been a full month of sickness in out home. Beck started out with a cold in January and when one child gets it so does the other. During Ira's cold he caught the flu bug for an entire week. Luckily Beck avoided this by hanging out with Grandma and GG, but Jon on the other hand did not. Once Ira recovered from the flu he got the croup which took us into the doctor. Beck was soon to follow with the croup and terrible cold. Once again we ventured to our Dr. to find out that Beck had an ear infection. Ira still not totally recovered from his last bout of croup was hit hard with it again. This resulted with another trip to the Dr. So I think we are wrapping up the cold/flu season. My kids have caught every version out there I am sure. Now Ira has had bouts of throwing due to a milk intolerance....I think. So now we get to work on this a little bit, hey at least it is not contagious because I miss my friends.

Viva Las Vegas

We had a great weekend meeting up with some of Jon's family in Las Vegas. We played a lot and as you can see slept a little. We are all looking forward to our own beds tonight. Thanks Shipley Band for the party! Jon enjoyed rocking out. I enjoyed hanging out late in the hot tub with Becky. Beck and Ira loved playing with their cousins Ben and Maggie. We wish you lived in Utah.
